Travel Report

Honolulu has many exciting adventures. Seeing unusual animals you do not see everyday, eating different tangy foods, and seeing amazing scenery all sounds great to me. When I think of Hawaii, I think of colorful fish swimming in the ocean, bonding with my family, and maybe even trying to surf. I think that I would be terrible at surfing, but there are surfing schools that you can help you learn. I can see myself someday on the sandy beach relaxing and having fun.
Hawaii has a lot of delicious food. Pineapples grow in Hawaii and are a part of almost every meal. Some of the popular foods are Hawaiian coleslaw, Hawaiian chicken kabobs, and Hawaiian rice. Those foods all have pineapple in them.

Hawaii has many animals. Green Sea Turtles are one of them. They can live up to a century and can lay 400 – 500 eggs at a time. It would be cool to see a sea turtle! Monk seals have a population of 1,500 in Hawaii. These seals relax on the shore. Another animal I would like to see are the fish in the sea while I am swimming. I would like to go scuba diving and see many different colorful fish. There are many beautiful fish in the sea. Seeing bright fish pass by you in the water would be incredible! Maybe you would even see sharks!

Honolulu has many amazing sights. Diamond Head is an ancient volcano. Many tourists come and see Diamond Head. It is 200,000 years old and has been inactive for 150,000 years. I would love to see that! In Honolulu there are many museums. One popular museum is the Bishop Museum. This Museum has Hawaiian artifacts. Hawaii also has many shopping areas. The Waikele Outlet Mall is Hawaii’s only outlet mall. I would totally go there and shop till I drop!

Over the course of a year, the temperature typically varies from 66°F to 88°F and is rarely below 61°F or above 91°F. That is great weather to get a good tan. Hawaii sounds like a good time and beautiful place to spend with your family. I hope to take a family trip to Honolulu Hawaii in my future.
